Scott and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary on May 28th. It seems so weird to say 17 years! I don't feel old enough to have been married that long! I do feel very lucky to have spent the past 17 years with an amazing man!
We decided to do a little get-a-way. So, I found a bed and breakfast on Camano Island, which is about an hour north of where we live. It was a beautiful location - the food was great, the owners were great, and the view was awesome! We stayed at the Blue Moon Beachhouse, which is literaly located right on the beach! In the picture below, the middle window on the top floor of the house was our room. It was such a great place to stay, and someplace we would definitely go back too! The other pictures are of the view of the water from our room. Spectacular sunsets!
We took a stroll down the beach one morning. It was a little chilly, but the sun was shining, and we didn't get rained on!
We also took a tour of the island - which isn't much. There are a few state parks, but not many places too eat or shop. It was a perfect place for a get away!!
Saturday evening, we had dinner at a little inn where the chef prepares a 5 course meal for you. The food was pretty good, and the view was great! We watched several sailboats go by!
